Terms of Service

Welcome to Metro Palm Financial Bank ("MetroPalm", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our digital banking platform, including all related websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By opening an account or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract. By registering, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. You may not use the Services if you are located in a jurisdiction where such use is prohibited by law.

During registration, you will select a password and may be required to provide additional verification, including but not limited to a one‑time passcode (OTP) sent to your email or phone. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity that occurs under your account is your sole responsibility. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

2. Account Types and Currencies

MetroPalm offers multi‑currency accounts, allowing you to hold, send, and receive funds in a variety of fiat currencies. The available currencies are listed on our website and may change from time to time. When you create an account, you must select a default currency; additional currency wallets can be opened subject to our approval and applicable regulatory requirements.

We reserve the right to impose minimum balance requirements, transaction limits, and fees for certain currency conversions. Any such limitations will be disclosed within the dashboard or via email prior to implementation.

3. Deposits, Withdrawals, and Transfers

You may deposit funds into your account via supported payment methods (bank transfer, card payment, or other methods as made available). Funds will be credited after clearing and settlement. Withdrawals are subject to available balance and may be delayed for security review.

Internal transfers between MetroPalm accounts are generally instant. External transfers (local and international) may take 1–5 business days and are subject to intermediary bank fees and exchange rate margins. We are not liable for delays caused by third‑party financial institutions.

All transactions are final once processed, except in cases of proven fraud or error. You must report any unauthorized transaction within 30 days of the statement date. Failure to do so may result in the transaction being deemed authorized.

4. Fees and Charges

We charge fees for certain services, such as international transfers, currency conversions, and card issuance. Our current fee schedule is available in the "Settings" section of your dashboard. Fees may be modified with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Services after such notice constitutes acceptance of the new fees.

If your account balance is insufficient to cover a fee, we may deduct the amount from any future deposit or suspend your account until payment is made.

5. Security and Fraud Prevention

We implement bank‑grade security measures, including AES‑256 encryption, biometric authentication, and real‑time fraud monitoring. You are responsible for securing your device and access credentials. We strongly recommend enabling two‑factor authentication (2FA) and using a strong, unique password.

We reserve the right to freeze or suspend any account that we reasonably suspect is involved in fraudulent, illegal, or prohibited activity. We will notify you as soon as practicable of any such action.

6. Intellectual Property

The MetroPalm name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and design elements are the exclusive property of Metro Palm Financial Bank. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from our Services without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MetroPalm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We make no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the Services. The Services are provided "as is" and "as available."

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without cause, upon reasonable notice. Upon termination, we will return any remaining balance after deducting outstanding fees and pending transactions, subject to regulatory holds.

9. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in‑app notification. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Metro Palm Financial Bank is registered, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association.
